Matthew Claxton

Matthew Claxton is a highly experienced community physiotherapist currently working at Carefor Health & Community Services since March 2016, where responsibilities include providing in-home falls prevention interventions and home safety education. Previous roles include Triage Physiotherapist at Dr. Dave Simon, where Matthew conducted screening assessments for orthopaedic patients, and Clinical Director/Partner at ActiveCARE Physio, overseeing a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care. Additional experience includes serving as an Instructor for the Physiotherapy Assistant Program at Everest College Canada and owning Need to Play Physio, developing workshops for musicians. Matthew holds a G.Dip AGHE from Queen's University and a B.Sc., P.T. in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto.
