Emir Hasanbegovic

Emir Hasanbegovic serves as the Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering at CareGuide since April 2019. Prior to this, Emir held the position of Director of Digital Software Development at Toronto Star from February 2018 to April 2019 and was Vice President of Engineering at Taplytics from April 2017 to February 2018, focusing on scaling infrastructure and processes for growth. Emir also founded TribalScale, serving as Founder and CTO from August 2015 to October 2016, and led innovation efforts at Kinetic Café as Lead Engineer from July 2014 to October 2015. With experience as an Agile Engineer at both Pivotal Labs and Xtreme Labs Inc., Emir managed projects from inception to completion. Emir began the career as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto while completing an Honors Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the same institution, graduating in 2011.
