Alyson Schill has over a decade of work experience in various roles, starting in 2010 at Radish Records as an Operations Manager and Artistic Planning & Marketing Manager. From 2011 to 2013, they worked at Passport to Taiwan as an Emcee and at GrowNYC as an Event Recycling Coordinator. In 2013, they served as a Volunteer Manager at Food Forward and as a Governors Ball Music Festival Sustainability Coordinator as an Independent Consultant. Alyson also worked at Maker Media from 2013 to 2017 as a Maker Faire Sustainability Manager, transforming the festival into a sustainability-focused event. Alyson then joined TreePeople in 2015 as a Special Project Manager and Waste Reduction and Recycling Specialist. In 2017, they left that role and began working at Global Inheritance as an Environmental Education Installment Manager. In 2020, they joined Asking For Change as a Creative Producer for a documentary on homelessness in Los Angeles. Finally, in 2021, Alyson became the CEO of CAREIT.
Alyson Schill attended Arizona State University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Chinese and East Asian Studies. Alyson then went on to study at National Taiwan University from 2007 to 2008, focusing on Chinese. In 2008-2009, they received Mandarin training at National Taiwan Normal University, specializing in Chinese and East Asian Studies.
