Amanda Knight has a diverse work experience in the field of occupational therapy. Amanda started their career at the Gateshead Community Learning Disability Team in 2003 as a Senior Occupational Therapist and worked there until November 2014. In 2014, they joined Careline Lifestyles / Durham Careline Limited as an Occupational Therapist where they were responsible for assessments and interventions for residents, line management of junior OTs and Therapy Assistants, and coordination of specialist equipment and resources. By January 2016, they were promoted to the position of Head of Therapeutic Services at the same company.
Amanda Knight's education history begins in 1983 when they attended Dunston Comprehensive School. Amanda did not obtain a degree or field of study during this time. From 1990 to 1993, Amanda attended Northumbria University and earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Occupational Therapy/Therapist. In 2015, they enrolled in Newcastle College and completed a Btec level 3 Award in Education and Training. Lastly, in 2013, Amanda pursued a Sensory Integration Level 1 certification at Ulster University, and the end year for this program is unknown.
