Ricardo Bánffy

Ricardo Bánffy is a highly experienced software engineer with a diverse background in software architecture, development, and engineering management. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Carelon Global Solutions Ireland since January 2024, Ricardo has previously held roles including Founder and evangelist at Associação Python Brasil, where efforts focused on promoting Python in Brazil. Additional experience encompasses positions such as Lead Software Architect at Honeywell, Senior Software Engineer at Workday, and Senior Lead Engineer at Zendesk, among others. Throughout the career, Ricardo has demonstrated expertise in building scalable applications, improving engineering workflows, and leading teams in various innovative projects, notably in the e-learning sector at Titans Group and core development for MAAS at Canonical Ltd.
