Meredith Clayton

Meredith Clayton is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in pediatric and outpatient care. Currently serving as Medical Director at Carelon since August 2016, Meredith reviews requests for outpatient imaging and nuclear studies across various insurance plans. Previously, as a Physician at Kaiser Permanente from January 2008 to June 2016, Meredith provided care to pediatric patients in outpatient and urgent care settings. Meredith's early career includes a residency in Preventive Medicine at Loma Linda University Medical Center, where significant research was conducted on Latino patient use of alternative medications, along with a pediatric residency at Children's Mercy Hospital. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Loma Linda University, a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Sterling College.
