Cathy Gibson

Cathy Gibson has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Cathy started their career at WellPoint in 1996 as a PBM Pharmacist, where they were responsible for developing and implementing drug utilization review programs. Cathy then joined Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals in 1999 as a Pharmacovigilance Manager, overseeing the safety of a Phase III study. In 2001, they moved to Anthem as a PBM Sr. Clinical Pharmacist, where they played a key role in identifying and quantifying impacts to pharmacy trend/spend. Cathy later served as a Medicare, Pharmacy Director, where they built a formulary strategy program and managed the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) vendor partners. Cathy's most recent role was at CarelonRx, where they worked as a Clinical Pharmacy Director.

Cathy Gibson attended the University of Cincinnati from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy. Cathy also holds a Six Sigma White Belt certification from the Aveta Business Institute.
