Tia Schoth

Tia Schoth has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Tia started their career as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 2005 to May 2007. Tia then joined Lockheed Martin in 2007 and participated in their HR Leadership Development Program, rotating through various roles including Diversity, EEO and Staffing as well as Talent Management and Learning & Development. Tia served as a Compensation Analyst from July 2009 to March 2011 and later became responsible for leading the performance management program for a 13,000 employee business unit, providing guidance and support for internal investigations and external EEOC charges until July 2012.

In 2012, Tia Schoth transitioned to Monsanto Company, where they worked as a Human Resources Business Partner from July 2012 to September 2018. Tia then joined Bayer Crop Science as a Human Resources Business Partner from September 2018 to July 2019. Tia was subsequently promoted to the role of Talent Management Lead, U.S. at Bayer Crop Science, which they held from July 2019 to June 2023.

Moving forward, Tia Schoth will be joining Care/of as the Director of People Operations starting from June 2023.

Tia Schoth began their education journey at Virden High School from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained their HS Diploma. Tia then attended Lincoln Land Community College from 2000 to 2002, earning an Associate of Science degree in Psychology. Following this, Tia enrolled at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2002 to 2004 and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Tia further pursued their studies at the same institution from 2005 to 2007, obtaining a Master of Education degree in Human Resource Development.
