Sarah Burns has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Sarah started their career in 1999 with CarePartners as a Community Visiting Nurse and later became a Clinical Nurse Educator. In 2005, they joined Red Cross Care Partners as a Clinical Practice Manager. Sarah also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at the Canadian Vascular Access Association from 2010 to 2013. Currently, they are working as the Director of Professional Practice and Integrated Care at CarePartners. Throughout their career, Sarah has gained experience in various roles in clinical practice, management, and education.
Sarah Burns has a Registered Nurse diploma from Conestoga College, which they obtained from 1996 to 1998. Sarah later pursued a Master of Science in Community Health Nursing from D'Youville University from 2007 to 2010. In 2009 to 2010, they also earned a Post Graduate Certificate in Education in Nursing from the same university. Currently, Sarah is working towards a Masters of Business Administration in Business from the University of Fredericton, starting in 2019 and expected to graduate in 2023.
