Gregory P. Winn

Vice President, Treasury at CareQuest Institute for Oral Health

Gregory Winn has extensive experience in treasury and financial management. Gregory started their career in 1978 as a sales administrator at Data General and then transitioned to roles in commercial lending at State Street and asset-based lending at Bank of New England. In 1988, they joined John Hancock, where they held various positions, including Senior Vice President & Treasurer. At John Hancock, they managed treasury functions, bank relations, debt issuance, short-term investing, risk management, and corporate taxes. In 2003, they became the Vice President & Treasurer at OneBeacon Insurance before moving on to Scottish Re as Senior Vice President - Treasurer and Chief Investment Officer. At Scottish Re, they oversaw external management of fixed income investments and managed treasury operations. In 2010, they worked at ALICO as the Vice President - Global Financial Planning & Analysis. From 2012 to 2020, they joined DentaQuest as the Vice President of Treasury, where they managed corporate M&A processes, completed acquisitions and divestures, and oversaw investment portfolios. Currently, they are the Vice President of Treasury at CareQuest Institute for Oral Health.

Gregory Winn earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, Magna Cum laude from Duke University in the years 1974-1978. Following this, from 1980-1982, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance at Harvard Business School. Prior to these degrees, Gregory Winn attended Phillips Academy from 1970-1974.
