Rebekah Mathews

Rebekah Mathews has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Rebekah is currently Vice President, Health Transformation at CareQuest Institute for Oral Health since September 2022. In this role, they are responsible for advancing value-based transformation in care, data and measurement, and payment through education program development and execution. Prior to this, they served as Director of Value-Based Care at CareQuest Institute for Oral Health from December 2019 to October 2022, where they worked towards promoting equitable systems that promote excellent health and championed oral health transformation.

Before joining CareQuest Institute, Rebekah worked at DentaQuest from 2009 to 2019. Rebekah held various leadership roles, including Director of Business Consulting from July 2016 to December 2019. In this position, they focused on improving oral health for all Americans while making it more affordable and accessible. Rebekah also served as Regional Director from October 2014 to June 2016, overseeing staff, accounts, and business operations for multiple states and cultivating growth and brand recognition strategies. Rebekah initially joined DentaQuest as an Executive Director in July 2009, where they played a key role in the implementation and management of the South Carolina Medicaid contract, while also overseeing daily business operations and advising clients on policy impact and benefit changes.

Prior to their tenure at DentaQuest, Rebekah worked as an Independent Consultant from November 2007 to July 2009, focusing on regulated industries including insurance and utilities. Rebekah provided guidance in state and local procurement law and developed client strategies in public policy and business development. Rebekah also worked at Southern Strategy Group as an Administrator from 2005 to 2007, overseeing lobbying operations and advocating for insurance and utilities clients. Rebekah started their career as a Consultant at Hollings and Associates in 2003.
