Fred Schulz

Fred Schulz serves as the Chief Operating Officer at CareSource since January 2024, where responsibilities include leading operations to enhance health care services for millions across Medicaid, the Health Insurance Marketplace, and Medicare. Previously, Fred Schulz held the position of Senior Vice President of Service Operations at Aetna from January 2012 to December 2023, overseeing Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial operations, as well as driving consumer engagement strategies. Fred Schulz also served as Chief Operating Officer for Government Services at Catalyst Rx, where operations for Medicare and Medicaid were managed, and held the Vice President role at both WellCare and UnitedHealth Group, focusing on operational execution and business process improvements. Fred Schulz holds a BS in Management Science and Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
