Justin Hammer

Justin Hammer has nine years of work experience. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Music Librarian at Brigham Young University, where their responsibilities included digital inventory management using a customized Microsoft Access database, physical inventory management including filing, cleaning, repairing, and distribution of music, and faculty and student assistance and support. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Lead Web Developer at Sirviso, LLC, where they managed a small team that specialized in Python and Django, implemented processes to better facilitate collaboration and communication among team members, oversaw sprints and acted as SCRUM master. In 2015, they also worked as a Web Developer at Coding Campus, where they honed their skills as a Web Developer with an emphasis in Python and Django, as well as working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, database refactoring, MySQL, PostGres, JSON manipulation, API integration (including Twitter and Facebook), Django REST framework, Handlebars, and Bootstrap. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a QA Engineer at NetDocuments and a Junior Developer at RANLife Home Loans. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Software Engineer at G&A Partner. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at careviso. Additionally, from 2013 to the present, they have been a Freelance Musician, where their responsibilities include teaching weekly music lessons to students with a wide range of skill, talent, motivation, age, and aspirations, as well as marketing himself as a successful teacher and musician to ensure a healthy studio and performing at a professional level for various recording and clinician gigs.

Justin Hammer obtained their Bachelor of Music (BM) degree in Commercial Music from Brigham Young University in 2015. Justin later obtained a Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance in December 2016, and a Python Web Developer certification from Coding Campus in December 2015.
