Rafael Ramos, CHFP, CRCR has a wealth of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management. Rafael started their career in 2005 at CBIZ as a Medicaid/Charity Care Manager. In 2008, they joined Atlantic Health as an Account Advisor. In 2010, they moved on to CareWell Health where they held various roles, including Patient Access Manager and Manager of Patient Financial Services. Currently, Rafael holds the position of Senior Director of Revenue Cycle at CareWell Health.

Rafael Ramos, CHFP, CRCR, obtained their education in the field of Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Walden University, where they studied from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their degree, Rafael has also obtained various certifications. Rafael is a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) and a Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR), both of which were awarded by the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). Furthermore, they have completed additional certifications in HFMA Business of Health Care and Operational Excellence, also from the HFMA. These certifications were obtained in January 2022.
