Mirko Villarroel

Mirko Villarroel is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as a senior associate at Carey since September 2022. With extensive experience in legal education, Villarroel has held positions as a Professor of Procedural Law and teaching assistant at Universidad de Santiago de Chile since March 2018. Additionally, involvement as a member of the Executive Committee at ICHDP - Instituto Chileno Derecho Procesal commenced in January 2020. Previous roles include associate positions at Jana & Gil Dispute Resolution and Bofill Mir & Álvarez Jana, as well as legal assistant roles at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and Universidad de Chile. Villarroel began a legal career as a procurator at Barros Letelier & González and Bofill Mir & Álvarez Jana after earning a degree in Legal and Social Sciences from Universidad de Chile in 2014.
