Michael Carew

Michael Carew has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Michael started their career as a General Manager at Launch Bar, a family business, where they worked from June 1991 to December 2002. In 2003, they founded Concept Construction, a building company focused on servicing work on their own investment properties and small-scale land development projects. Michael later transitioned into working on extensions for current houses for the general public. However, due to the economic downturn, they decided to wind up the company in December 2008.

Following their stint at Concept Construction, Michael joined Carey Glass International in January 2008 as a North American Sales Director. In this role, they worked closely with the sales team on challenging bespoke projects and met with customers to provide the best options for joinery and realize their visions. Michael also held the position of General Manager at Carey Glass International from January 2008 to December 2013, where they were responsible for organizing production, monitoring labor and materials against turnover, and ensuring smooth operations.

Michael Carew completed their Secondary School Education at St Munchins College from 1990 to 1994. Michael then attended Limerick Tutorial Centre from 1994 to 1996, where they obtained their Leaving Certificate. Michael went on to study Industrial Biochemistry at the University of Limerick from 1996 to 2000. Michael later pursued Construction Management at Limerick Senior College from 2001 to 2003.
