Eamonn O'Donnell

Regional Director, Ireland at Careys

Eamonn O'Donnell is the Regional Director in Ireland at Careys. His journey with Careys started in 2007, joining as a Project Manager after spending five years as a Site Engineer at Dunne Group. Eamonn spent around five years as a Project Manager before becoming a Contracts Manager in 2012, where he spent another five years in this role, before becoming Head of Delivery in 2017.

In Eamonn's role as Head of Delivery, he was proud to have worked as part of a high performing team who delivered a number of large-scale projects all over Scotland that included the Learning and Teaching Hub at the University of Glasgow, Aberdeen ECC Hospital, Scottish Water Headquarters, Anderson high school in Shetland and Barcaldine Salmon Hatchery in Oban Scotland, to name a few.

In his current role as Regional Director - Ireland, he's responsible for operational delivery across a wide variety of projects in Ireland. Working in close collaboration with the support teams across the company, he helps ensure effective management of resources and development of operational teams and client relationships.

Eamonn is married and has 5 children, which keeps him on his toes when he's not at work. He enjoys a bit of DIY, gardening and if he gets some time, hill walking, to blow away the cobwebs.
