Tim Scherer

Tim Scherer is a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in strategic sales and team management. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Sales at CARFAX since May 2010, Tim has successfully presented and closed deals with large dealer groups across a 14-state territory while overseeing a team of approximately 35 members. Prior to this, Tim held various sales positions, including Area Sales Manager at Wells Fargo, where territory performance improved from the lowest to the highest in just six months. Tim's early career includes significant achievements at Sonic Automotive, with average yearly sales exceeding $7.5 million and recognition as the #1 Sales Representative in 2003. Tim began their career as a Technical Trainer at Intel Corporation and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of New Mexico.
