Bobby Cobbs has over 30 years of successful fundraising experience with nonprofit organizations. Bobby served as the Vice President at Cargill Associates starting from 2014, where they were responsible for planning, managing, and evaluating fund development programs. Bobby also established successful annual fund campaigns, conducted successful capital campaigns, and trained volunteers and boards. Bobby is a Certified Professional Coach, providing personalized coaching services. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Philanthropy at Christian Brothers High School from 2012-2013. From 2008-2012, Bobby worked as a Fund Development and Public Relations Officer at Sierra Forever Families, where they transformed the lives of children in foster care by building and nurturing permanent families. Bobby Cobbs attended Baylor University from 1972 to 1975, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work. Following this, they pursued a Master of Religious Education degree at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary from 1978 to 1979. In 1979, they enrolled at the University of Louisville and completed a Master of Social Work degree the following year. In 2014, Bobby obtained a Certified Professional Coach certification. Lastly, for a significant period from 1982 to 2016, Bobby Cobbs participated in the Certified Fundraising Executives program, earning the CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executives) designation.
