Daan Bloemen

Daan Bloemen is a professional with extensive experience in corporate development and investment management. Currently employed at Cargill since October 2022, Daan previously held the position of Senior Investment Associate at Waterland Private Equity from June 2020 to October 2022. Prior to that, Daan worked at McKinsey & Company as an Associate and Junior Associate from January 2017 to June 2020. Daan's early career includes a role as Portfolio Manager in Reserve Management at the National Bank of Belgium in 2016, as well as serving as a Financial Analyst at CMB and an intern in the Investment Banking Division at Nomura. Academically, Daan holds a Master of Science in Business Engineering from KU Leuven, an exchange programme in Finance from City University of Hong Kong, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Engineering from KU Leuven, alongside studies at Université de Montréal.
