Negar Rashidi (She/Her)

Negar Rashidi has served as a Lead Application Scientist at Cargill since January 2017, focusing on the development of new polymer applications and contributing to the commercial success of innovative building blocks. Prior to this role, Negar worked as a Product & Process Development Technician at Cargill, enhancing vegetable oil and fat products. As an artist since October 2021, Negar Rashidi creates fine art inspired by ancient Persian miniatures and Delft Blue Pottery in the Netherlands. Previous experience includes a role as a Research Scientist at Croda, where sustainable development and natural-based specialties were key focuses, and a graduating position at Syncom BV, developing novel drug candidates. An internship at Merck involved asymmetric synthesis techniques. Negar holds a Bachelor of Science in Organic Chemistry from Hanze University, completed in 2010.
