Rafael de Paula

Rafael de Paula is an experienced professional in the agricultural commodities sector, currently serving as the Origination, Risk and Co-Products Commercial Director for Cargill Starches, Sweeteners & Terturizers South America (CSST Brazil) since October 2021. Previously, Rafael held key positions at Archer Daniels Midland Company as Head of Sourcing and Risk Management, and Pif Paf Alimentos as Sourcing and Risk Manager. With a strong background at Cargill from 2008 to 2019, Rafael progressed through various roles focusing on the sourcing of cocoa beans, corn, and sugar. Rafael's career began with an internship at Raízen in 2005. Rafael holds an Executive Development Program in Negotiation and Influence from MIT Sloan School of Management, an MBA in Business Management from FGV, and a degree in Agronomy from UEL.
