Vivek John Cherian

Vivek John Cherian possesses extensive experience in the food ingredients and agricultural sectors, currently serving as the Indulgence & Chocolate Growth Officer for Cargill's Food Solutions Americas since September 2012, overseeing a $100M+ P&L and managing various chocolate offerings. Vivek John's previous roles at Cargill include Global Specialty Fats Product Line Director and Global Category Leader for Meat and Dairy Alternatives, where Vivek John focused on expanding the specialty fats portfolio and leading plant-based growth initiatives. Additionally, Vivek has held senior strategy roles, advising on mergers, acquisitions, and market entry strategies, while also contributing as a Strategic Advisor for Intello Labs and serving on the board of CUBIQ FOODS. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
