Yudhishtran Kanagasabai

Mr. Yudy Kanagasabai is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka). Counts over 35 years of experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives, and Singapore, before he retired as the Senior Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers Sri Lanka and the Maldives on 31st March 2017. Has served on several committees of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.

As an Independent Non-Executive Director, he currently serves as the Chairman of the Board Audit Committee and Related Party Transaction Committee of Ceylon Tobacco Company PLC and as the Chairman of the Board Audit Committee of Millenium IT ESP (Pvt) Limited. He also serves as a Non-Executive Independent Director, and as a Member of the Board Audit Committees of Cargills Ceylon PLC, Cargills Food Company Limited, Hunter & Company PLC, Lanka Canneries Limited, and EAP Holdings Limited.

Yudy was Chairman of the Audit Committee of Union Bank PLC from August 2016 to 31 December 2018. He also served as a Commissioner of the Insurance Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka from February 2018 to November 2019.
