Candidate Nerissa Jalim Sa (CA)

Nerissa Jalim has a diverse range of work experience. Nerissa began their career as a Senior Auditor at Deloitte in 2005 and worked there until 2007. Nerissa then moved on to First National Battery (Pty) Ltd, where they served as a Financial Manager from 2009 to 2011. In 2011, they joined Imperial Logistics as a Financial Manager/Commercial Manager and stayed there until 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Financial Director (Sub-Saharan Africa) at ESAB. Nerissa then joined Gunnebo as a Finance and Internal Support Services Director (Sub-Saharan Africa) from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, Nerissa became the Manufacturing Operating Group - Finance Business Partner at Aveng and held that role until 2019. Nerissa then moved to LafargeHolcim and served as the Head of Controlling from February to August 2019. From 2017 to 2019, they also held the position of Chair of the Board of Directors at Kuehne + Nagel. Later, in 2008, Nerissa obtained the CA (SA) certification from SAICA, which stands for South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. In terms of additional certifications, they achieved the CA (SA) designation in December 2008 from SAICA CA (SA).
