Brian Schoelkopf

Brian Schoelkopf has a diverse work experience spanning over 13 years. Brian started their career at Gallo Wine Company where they completed a Management Development Program from August 2008 to July 2013. Brian then interned at Amgen in Operations Finance before pursuing an MBA at UCLA Anderson School of Management from August 2013 to June 2015. Post-MBA, they joined Amgen again in various finance roles from July 2015 to April 2019. Brian worked as Finance Manager - Operations Finance and Treasury Manager before going into Corporate Strategy and Corporate FP&A, respectively. Brian then transitioned to Atara Biotherapeutics from May 2019 to October 2021, serving as Associate Director, FP&A, and Director, Investor Relations & Finance. Brian continued to progress in their career by joining NGM Biopharmaceuticals as Sr Director, Head of Investor Relations and FP&A from October 2021 to June 2023. Brian currently serves as the Sr Director, Head of FP&A at CARGO Therapeutics.

Brian Schoelkopf earned a Bachelor of Arts from UCLA in International Development Studies from 2004 to 2008. In 2014 to 2015, they studied Finance and earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
