Mark Charlton has over 25 years of work experience in the apparel industry. Mark currently holds the position of Head of Technical Design at Carhartt, where they lead the Technical Design team. Prior to this, Mark worked as the Fit & Sizing Thought Leader / Strategist at Charlton Global Apparel Services LLC. Mark also served as the Vice President Technical Services at PVH Corp. and as the Technical Design and Development Director at Nike, where they were responsible for various successful projects, such as global brand fit consistency and redefining the Nike Global size construct. Mark's earlier roles include Technical Manager at Tesco Stores Ltd, Technical Account Manager at Prominent Apparel, Senior Garment Technologist at Next, Senior Pattern Technologist at Shadowline Foundations Ltd, Tailoring CAD-CAM Systems Manager at Carl Stuart Ltd, and CAD Operator / Pattern Technician at Complan Technology. Overall, Mark has proven expertise in technical design, fit and sizing, and project management in the apparel industry.
Mark Charlton obtained a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Clothing Technology from Leeds College of Art and Design from 1991 to 1993. Prior to that, they earned a BTEC National Diploma in Fashion Design from Castle College of Further Education between 1989 and 1991.
