Steven Kachnowski

Steven Kachnowski has extensive experience in application support and development, currently serving as Senior Manager of Platform Management and Global Support at Carhartt. Previously, Steven held positions including Application Development Supervisor and Senior Programmer/Analyst at the same company. Before joining Carhartt, Steven worked as a Programmer/Analyst at Art Van Furniture from April 1999 to November 2010. His expertise spans SAP-driven ecosystems and IBM i (iSeries/AS400) environments, where he leverages technology to enhance operational efficiency and innovation. With deep experience in legacy and modern enterprise systems, Steven can help tackle complex infrastructure challenges, mitigate risk, and drive continuous platform improvement to ensure stability and adaptability in global support structures. Early career roles included serving as a Teacher Assistant under Dr. Ranjan Chauduri at Eastern Michigan University and working as a Lab Assistant in the Computer Science Department. Steven earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Eastern Michigan University, completing studies between 1994 and 1998.
