Zlatko Stamatov

Zlatko Stamatov is an experienced System Architect and Software Technologies Lead at CARIAD since January 2022, specializing in the Remote Services Connectivity agile release train. Zlatko has a strong background in leading Android development teams, previously serving as Android Chapter Lead and Senior Software Engineer, overseeing the growth of a team of over 15 developers. Prior to CARIAD, Zlatko worked at Volkswagen AG as a Lead Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, focusing on identity and full-stack engineering using extreme programming methodologies. Early career experiences include positions at Door2Door and Netcetera, where Zlatko led multiple Android projects and contributed to architectural improvements. Zlatko holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University St. Kliment Ohridski in Bitola, obtained in 2010.
