Tadzio Bervoets is an accomplished environmental leader with extensive experience in conservation and sustainable development. Currently serving as Chairperson at UNESCO Ocean and Sustainable Blue Finance Lead at the Caribbean Biodiversity Fund, Tadzio has held significant positions such as Managing Director of the Nature Foundation in St. Maarten and Chairman of the Environment Workgroup National Economic Plan for the Government of Sint Maarten. With a proven track record in project management, Tadzio led the Save Our Sharks Project under the Dutch Caribbean Nature Alliance, alongside serving as Vice Chair and Director within the same organization. Previous roles include Press Relations Officer for the Cabinet of the Prime Minister of Sint Maarten and Marine Park Manager at the St. Eustatius National Parks Office. Tadzio holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of South Florida.
