Coordinator, Sustainable Energy (renewable Energy/energy Efficiency) At Caribbean Development Bank at Caribbean Development Bank

Joseph Williams is an experienced energy professional with a focus on sustainable energy, renewable energy, and energy efficiency. Currently serving as Coordinator of Sustainable Energy at the Caribbean Development Bank since March 2014, Joseph has held various senior roles including Head (Acting) of the Renewable Energy/Energy Efficiency Unit and Programme Manager for initiatives such as the Sustainable Energy Fund and GeoSmart Initiative. Prior to this, Joseph managed the Energy Programme at the Caribbean Community Secretariat from 2008 to 2014, where responsibilities included developing regional energy policy and mobilizing resources for sustainable energy across CARICOM member states. Joseph's earlier experience includes leading an energy management consultancy in Jamaica. Joseph holds an MBA in Sustainability and Finance, an MSc in Engineering Management (Energy Planning), and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, complemented by membership in the Association of Energy Engineers.
