Assistant Chief Examiner at CXC

Gairy Knight has extensive experience in education and music, currently serving as Assistant Chief Examiner and Moderator for CXC Music at the Caribbean Examinations Council since 2012. Gairy also holds a lecturer position at Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College since 1997, focusing on areas such as Philosophy and Sociology of Education, Drama and Theatre in Education, and Music, alongside serving as Choral Director. From January 1996 to January 2001, Gairy was the Executive Director of the St. Kitts Music Festival. Academic qualifications include a Diploma of Education from The University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus, a Diploma in Orchestra Conducting from CIDEM, and both MM and BM degrees in Composition from Indiana University Bloomington, complemented by a Diploma in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from The University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus.
