Dr. Latisha Nicholas

Dr. Latisha Nicholas is a highly experienced professional in the field of chemistry, currently serving as Deputy Laboratory Manager and Chemist at the Caribbean Industrial Research Institute (CARIRI) since July 2018. Prior to this role, Dr. Nicholas worked as a STEM Chemistry Coordinator at Shell from February 2017 to July 2021 and held a position as a Chemistry Lecturer at COSTAATT College from January 2012 to August 2019. Additionally, experience includes serving as a Laboratory Demonstrator at The University of the West Indies from September 2006 to 2016 and working as a Customer Service Representative in Loans at First Citizens in 2006. Dr. Nicholas earned a PhD in Chemistry with a focus on Bioinorganic Chemistry and Peptide Synthesis from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus, between 2011 and 2017.
