Judith Bennett

Judith Bennett, CPA has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Judith began their career as an Audit Staff at Arthur Andersen LLP in 2001, and later joined EY as an Audit Senior. In 2004, they became the Financial Controller at Caledonian Global Financial Services, where they had responsibilities in accounts receivable/payable and internal accounting functions. From 2009 to 2015, Judith worked at UBS as the Head of Financial Control, managing finance and accounting functions. Their achievements in this role included driving efficiencies and enhancing accounting policies.

In 2015, Judith joined Caribbean Utilities Company, Ltd., where they worked as the Financial Services Manager. In this position, they managed the Financial Services team and was responsible for audit preparedness and delivering performance improvements. Their role also involved preparing budgets and supporting the development of annual business plans. From 2021 to 2023, Judith served as the Manager of Regulatory & Sustainability at Caribbean Utilities, implementing a new ESG strategy and driving a proactive ESG and sustainability culture.

Currently, Judith holds the position of Director of Sustainable Finance at Caribbean Utilities. In this role, they focus on creating new ESG strategy, targets, and metrics, as well as establishing key ESG targets and aligning them with UN Sustainable Development Goals.

In addition to their degree, Judith has obtained various certifications throughout their career, including the Certified Public Accountant designation from the Georgia Secretary of State in December 2004. Judith also holds a Level 5 Certificate in Leadership & Management from the Leadership Management Institute, a Diploma in Corporate Sustainability from The Sustainability Academy, and an IFRS Certificate from the AICPA.
