Alexandra Lied

Alexandra Lied is an experienced professional in the biotechnology field, currently serving as Associate Director of Program Management at Caribou Biosciences since August 2015. During her tenure at Caribou, Alexandra has held various roles including Senior Program Manager and Senior Research Associate, focusing on the development of CRISPR genome editing therapies. Prior to this, Alexandra worked at the Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT, and Harvard as a Senior Research Technologist, contributing to research on genetic factors influencing immune response. Earlier experience includes a position as Research Associate II at SAIC-Frederick, Inc., where work involved high-throughput sequencing and genotyping for cancer research. Alexandra holds a Master of Forensic Science in Forensic Molecular Biology from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Connecticut.
