Enrique Zudaire has a wealth of experience in the field of biotechnology and pharmaceutical research. Enrique began their career as an Assistant Professor at Universidad Autonoma de Madrid in 1999. Enrique then joined the National Cancer Institute in 2000, where they held various roles, including Research Fellow and Staff Scientist. At the National Cancer Institute, they focused on areas such as oncology, tumor microenvironment dynamics, immunomodulation of cancer progression, and therapeutic antibody development.
In 2014, Zudaire joined The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, where they held positions such as Principal Scientist, Associate Scientific Director, and Senior Scientific Director. During their time at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies, they specialized in cell therapy, immune oncology translational research, and drug discovery and development.
Currently, Zudaire serves as the Senior VP of Translational Sciences and Therapeutics Discovery at Caribou Biosciences, a role they assumed in 2023. Throughout their career, Zudaire has demonstrated expertise in molecular and cellular biology, gene perturbation strategies, and evaluation of PK/PD.
Enrique Zudaire completed their Ph.D. in Cellular Biology at the University of Navarra from 1994 to 1999.
