George Kwong

George Kwong is a senior scientist with extensive experience in T cell therapeutics, currently serving as Senior Scientist 2 at Caribou Biosciences since September 2021. Prior roles include positions at Sangamo Therapeutics, Invicro, and the Center for Regenerative Medicine of BU and BMC, where notable work involved developing a novel zebrafish model for lung development studies. George Kwong completed a Ph.D. and a Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering at Boston University and holds dual Bachelor's Degrees in Bioengineering and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, George has a background in teaching and undergraduate research, focusing on stem cell engineering and tissue engineering.
