Jason Tepperman is currently the Chief Lending Officer at Caribou. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director at IntraFi Local Credit from January 2015 to December 2021. There, they built and led direct lending platform for IntraFi Network, a Blackstone-backed fintech provider to banks and brokerage firms.
From January 2011 to December 2014, Jason was the Director of the Small Business Lending Fund at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. There, they established and led the U.S. Treasury’s $4 billion Small Business Lending Fund, which was the first large-scale, impact-linked investment fund, investing in hundreds of banks and nonbank lenders.
Prior to that, from January 2009 to December 2010, Jason served as the Office of the Chief Investment Officer in the Office of Financial Stability at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. In this role, they led special situations investments for the $700 billion Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) and served on its Executive Committee.
Before their time at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Jason was a Member of the General Partner at Baker Capital from January 2002 to December 2009 and an Associate at Oliver Wyman from January 1997 to December 2000.
Jason Tepperman received their BS from Yale University in Computer Science and Ethics, Politics, & Economics. Jason then went on to receive their Master in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
