Alé Barthe

Chief Operating Officer at Caridad Center

Alé Barthe has worked in the healthcare field for over 10 years. Alé started out as a patient care attendant on the postpartum unit of Bethesda Memorial Hospital. There, they monitored patients' vital signs and reported abnormalities to nurses, assisted mothers with daily activities, collected specimens for the lab, assisted with breastfeeding, provided newborn care, and acted as a translator in many areas of the hospital, as needed.

In 2013, Alé Barthe began working as a health planner and program manager for the Health Council of Southeast Florida. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing health education programs and initiatives that promote healthy lifestyles and access to healthcare services.

In 2014, Alé Barthe returned to Caridad Center, where they had previously worked as an assistant intern for the lactation specialist. In their current role as executive administrator of program operations, they oversee the day-to-day operations of the center and ensures that all programs and services are running smoothly. Alé also manages a team of case managers who provide support and resources to low-income families in need.

Alé Barthe graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Behavior from the University of Florida. Alé then went on to obtain their Master of Public Health in Public Health from the University of South Florida. Alé also has a High School Diploma in IB from Atlantic Community High School. Alé is certified in Healthcare Leadership from FAU Executive Education.
