Lauri Garrett has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Lauri started their career as the Owner of Garrett Transcription Services/GTS ITSolutions in 1997 and held the position until 2015. In 2015, Lauri joined Inova Health System and took on various roles, including Administrative Assistant, Sr. Administrative Assistant, Project Coordinator 2, and Program Manager. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Carient Heart & Vascular as a Project Manager and later as the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Projects in the Office of the CEO.
Lauri Garrett obtained an Associate's Degree in Cancer Registry Management from Darton College, where they studied from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Robert E. Lee High School.
