Lizzie Gathitu has extensive work experience in call center and customer service roles. Lizzie began their career at Wells Fargo in 1999 as a Customer Service Supervisor and worked there until 2010. In 2009, they joined Carilion Clinic as a Contact Center Manager, a role they held for almost 10 years. In 2019, they took on the position of Ambulatory Operations Call Center Director at Carilion Clinic. Later in the same year, they also became the Contact Center Director at the same organization.

Lizzie Gathitu earned a Bachelor's degree in Textile Design from the University of Nairobi in 1993. In 2019, they completed a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Hollins University.
