Suzy Kraemer

Suzy Kraemer, MD, FACP, is currently the Chief Quality Officer at Carilion Clinic and a Clinical Professor at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, positions held since 2020 and 2018, respectively. Previously, Suzy served as a Board Member for Vidant Health, representing East Carolina University from 2016 to 2018, and held the role of Medical Director for Coastal Plains LLC, an Accountable Care Organization, from 2014 to 2018. Suzy's academic career includes a long tenure at The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University as a Clinical Professor and Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency from 1997 to 2018. Additional leadership experience includes serving as Chief of Staff at Vidant Health from 2014 to 2016. Suzy completed a Doctor of Medicine degree at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and a Master's degree in Physiology at Miami University.
