Tim Auwarter has held several leadership roles in the healthcare industry. Tim began their career as an Administrative Director at Tuomey Healthcare System, where they oversaw various departments and guided a facility expansion project. Tim then became the Director of Rehabilitation Services, Adult Day Health, and Health Education Center at Margaret R. Pardee Hospital. In this role, they were involved in strategic planning and served as a healthcare system administrator. Later, Tim served as the Vice President of Ancillary and Support Services and Interim CEO at Faith Regional Health Services. Tim led multiple departments and projects, including a facility expansion and master facility plan. Currently, Tim is the Vice President of Clinical Support at Carilion Clinic.
Tim Auwarter received their Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from Bridgewater College in 1990. Tim then went on to earn a Master of Education degree from The Citadel in 1993. In 2009, they completed their education with an MBA in Business Administration from Montreat College. Tim also holds a certification as an ATC (Athletic Trainer Certified) from the NATA Board of Certification.
