Vydia Permashwar

Vydia Permashwar is an experienced pediatrician and educator with a robust background in pediatrics and health sciences. Serving as the Vice Chair of the Education Department of Pediatrics at Carilion Clinic Children's Hospital since December 2011, Vydia also holds multiple roles including Department Representative for Health System Science and Pediatric Clerkship Director. With a longstanding commitment to medical education, Vydia serves as an Associate Professor at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and an Assistant Professor at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. Vydia's clinical experience extends to positions at Bradley Free Clinic and previously at Children Clinic Rocky Mount and Appalachian Primary Care. Vydia's medical education was obtained from The University of the West Indies, complemented by training at Childrens Hospital of Michigan.
