Daniel Norwood

Daniel Norwood has a diverse and extensive background in community service and politics. Current roles include Planning Committee Member for Maine Family Planning, Legislative Policy Committee Member for Maine Municipal Association, and Selectman for the Town of Acton. Daniel is also involved with the Maine Democratic Party, serving on multiple committees and as Vice Chair of the Acton Democratic Committee, while running as a candidate for the Maine State Legislature. Additional experience includes working as a Youth Educator for Caring Unlimited and organizing fundraising events for the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Daniel holds a Master's Degree in Human Development and dual Bachelor's Degrees in Political Science and History from the University of Maine.
