Mukund V. has a diverse work experience in the field of computational biology, data science, and machine learning. Mukund is currently working as a Principal Machine Learning Scientist at Caris Life Sciences. Prior to that, Mukund worked as a Data Science Consultant, providing computational biology and machine learning consulting for early stage startups. Mukund also has experience at Celsius Therapeutics, where they held various roles including Senior Scientist II, Senior Scientist, and Scientist II, focusing on machine learning. Before that, they worked as a Data Scientist at Asimov. Additionally, Mukund has worked at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, where they served in positions of increasing responsibility and contributed to multiple publications in the fields of gut immunology, IBD, autophagy, and single-cell RNAseq. Their early experience includes being a Graduate Student Researcher at CERN, where they conducted research on the formation of quark gluon plasma and analyzed particle-collision data.
