Daniel Blumenthal

Daniel Blumenthal has worked in the scientific field since 2010. Daniel began their career at The Johns Hopkins University as a Graduate Research Fellow, working with Dr. Michael Edidin and Dr. John Shneck. In 2010, they moved to Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they were a Graduate Student, University Lecturer, and Teaching Assistant. In 2017, they joined the University of Pennsylvania as a Guest Lecturer and Teaching Assistant. In 2015, they began working at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia as a CHOP Postdoc Alliance Chairperson, Mentor for the CHOP Ambassador Program, and Postdoctoral Researcher. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Carisma Therapeutics as a Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Scientist II.

Daniel Blumenthal obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2008. Daniel then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in the same field, which they completed in 2010. In 2011, they began a Doctor of Philosophy in Biotechnology Engineering, which they completed in 2015.
