Reto Schefer

Reto Schefer is an experienced professional in youth empowerment and education, currently serving as the Leiter youngCaritas Schweiz at Caritas Schweiz since December 2019. In this role, Reto leads the youngCaritas team, oversees school workshops, develops educational materials, and fosters active engagement among young people. Reto also contributes as a Berufsschullehrer at GBS Gewerbliches Berufs- und Weiterbildungszentrum St. Gallen since August 2020. Previous roles include conducting needs assessments for youngCaritas, managing education programs for Swiss Solidarity's fundraising campaign, and providing welfare assistance to refugees. Reto holds a Master's degree in Social Work and has completed various educational qualifications in teaching and management.
