David Shin

David Shin has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. David is currently working at CARITY as the Head of Engineering since December 2021. Prior to that, they spent 10 years at Flipp, where they held various leadership roles within the Engineering team and contributed to the company's growth from a startup to a successful pre-IPO technology company. Before Flipp, David worked at AMD as a Senior Software Engineer from February 2007 to April 2011, and as an Engineer from January 2003 to February 2007. David also had earlier roles as a Software Engineer at Triversity from September 2001 to August 2002, at MDS Sciex from January 2001 to April 2001, and as an Interactive TV Analyst at Rogers Communications from May 2000 to August 2000.

David Shin attended the University of Waterloo from 1999 to 2004, where they pursued a degree in Computer Engineering. David successfully completed their studies and was awarded an Honours Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Computer Engineering.
