Dr. Michael Gerle

Dr. Michael Gerle has a broad range of experience across various industries and roles. Dr. Michael is currently the Managing Director of CARL BECHEM GMBH, where they are responsible for a global business with approximately 600 employees. In their previous role as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at CARL BECHEM GMBH, they played a key role in technological advancements. Prior to that, they held positions at Siegwerk, LANXESS, Bayer, Accenture, H.P. Kaufmann-Institut, and Unilever, where they gained extensive experience in technology, manufacturing, strategy consulting, and research.

Dr. Michael Gerle obtained their Diploma in Chemistry from the University of Cologne from 1987 to 1993. Following this, they went on to pursue a PhD in Technical Chemistry at RWTH Aachen University, completing it from 1993 to 2007.
